- Open your Netscape Mail program.
- Click on your sowega account on the left panel to highlight it (1).
- Then on the right panel, click on "View settings for this account"
(2). A Mails and Newsgroup Account Setting window will pop up.
- On the left panel, click on "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" (3).
- In the "Outgoing Server (SMTP) Settings" on the right panel,
make sure the option of "Use name and password" is checked
(4), and type in the user name of your
email account (5).
- Click on OK and save the settings.
- After you set up the outgoing server to use name and password, the
first time you try to send out messages, a window will pop up to ask
for your password for the account.
